いつでも準備を
34 パーティーに行くことや酔っ払うこと、人生の心配に目を向けることに時間を費やさないように気を付けなさい！それはお前たちの考えを鈍らせるだけで、お前たちが予想していない時に終わりが来るかもしれないからだ。 35 それは地上の全ての人にとって驚く時に来る。 36 常に準備をしておくんだ！起こる全てのことに自分が耐えられるように祈り、人の子の前に忠実に立つんだ」
37 こうしてイエスは日中は、神殿の敷地内で人々に教え、夜は街を出て、オリーブ山と呼ばれる丘に行って過ごしていた。 38 毎朝、全ての人が早起きし、神殿に来てはイエスの話を聞くのであった。
