התגלות 7:13-17

13 אחד מעשרים-וארבעה הזקנים שאל אותי: "היודע אתה מיהם הלבושים לבן ומאין באו?"

14 "אדוני," השבתי. "אתה יודע."

"אלה הם אנשים שעברו צרות, רדיפות וסבל רב," הסביר לי הזקן. " הם רחצו את גלימותיהם והלבינו אותן בדם השה. 15 לכן הם נמצאים כאן לפני כיסא אלוהים; הם משרתים את אלוהים במקדשו יומם ולילה, והוא מגן עליהם, 16 הם לא ירעבו ולא יצמאו יותר לעולם, ואף השמש והשרב לא יכו אותם. 17 כי השה העומד לפני כיסא-המלכות ירעה אותם ויובילם למעיינות מים חיים, ואלוהים ימחה כל דמעה מעיניהם."
