馬 太 福 音 9:2-8
2 一些人抬着一个躺在垫子上的瘫痪病人来见他。耶稣看到他们有如此强的信仰，便对瘫痪病人说∶“鼓起勇气，年轻人，你的罪孽被宽恕了。”
3 一些律法师听到这些话后，窃窃私语道∶“这个人在说冒犯上帝的话。”
4 耶稣看出他们的心思，便对他们说∶“为什么你们要心怀邪念呢？ 5 两者相比，哪个更容易呢？ 是对这人说‘你的罪被宽恕了，’容易，还是说‘站起来，迈步走，’容易呢？ 6 我要向你们证明，人子在世间有宽恕罪孽的权力。”然后他对瘫痪病人说∶“起来，拿上你的铺盖，走回家去吧。”
7 病人果真站了起来，走回家去了。 8 众人看到这一切，都很惊讶。他们都赞美上帝赋予了人如此的权力。
