2 我的弟兄们，你们在面临各种考验的时候，应该引以为乐。 3 因为你们知道，你们的信仰经过考验后会产生忍耐。 4 这忍耐会产生完美的工作，以便你们达到完美无缺的地步，你们会有你们所需的一切。 5 如果你们中间有谁缺乏智慧，他就应该向上帝请求。上帝不求全责备，对所有的人都慷慨施予，因此，上帝是会赐给他智慧的。 6 但是，他必须凭着信仰去请求，不可对上帝有丝毫的怀疑。因为怀疑的人就像大海里的波浪，任凭风吹，颠簸翻滚。
