Psalm 119:9-16

ב Beth

How shall a young man keep his way pure?
    By keeping it according to Your word.
10 With my whole heart I seek You;
    do not allow me to wander from Your commandments.
11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
    that I might not sin against You.
12 Blessed are You, O Lord;
    teach me Your statutes.
13 With my lips I declare
    all the decrees of Your mouth.
14 I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies,
    as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on Your precepts
    and keep my eyes on Your ways.
16 I will delight in Your statutes;
    I will not forget Your word.

Isaiah 43:8-13

Bring forth the blind people who have eyes,
    and the deaf who have ears.
Let all the nations be gathered together,
    and let the people be assembled.
Who among them can declare this,
    and show us former things?
Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified;
    or let them hear and say, “It is true.”
10 You are My witnesses, says the Lord,
    and My servant whom I have chosen
that you may know and believe Me,
    and understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
    nor shall there be after Me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord,
    and besides Me there is no savior.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown,
    when there was no strange god among you;
therefore, you are My witnesses, says the Lord, that I am God.
13     Indeed, from eternity I am He;
there is no one who can deliver out of My hand;
    I act, and who can reverse it?

2 Corinthians 3:4-11

We have such trust through Christ toward God, not that we are sufficient in ourselves to take credit for anything of ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us able ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

If the ministry that brought death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, the glory which was to fade away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation is glorious, the ministry of righteousness much more exceeds it in glory. 10 Even that which was made glorious had no glory in comparison to the glory that excels. 11 For if that which fades was glorious, that which remains is much more glorious.
