New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)
Version
Psalm 145:8-14

The Lord is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and abounding in mercy.(A)
The Lord is good to all,
    compassionate toward all your works.(B)
10 All your works give you thanks, Lord
    and your faithful bless you.(C)
11 They speak of the glory of your reign
and tell of your mighty works,
12 Making known to the sons of men your mighty acts,
the majestic glory of your rule.
13 Your reign is a reign for all ages,
    your dominion for all generations.(D)
The Lord is trustworthy in all his words,
and loving in all his works.
14 The Lord supports all who are falling
and raises up all who are bowed down.(E)

Zechariah 2:6-13

I asked, “Where are you going?” And he said, “To measure Jerusalem—to see how great its width is and how great its length.”

Then the angel who spoke with me advanced as another angel came out to meet him and he said to the latter, “Run, speak to that official:[a] Jerusalem will be unwalled, because of the abundance of people and beasts in its midst.(A) I will be an encircling wall of fire[b] for it—oracle of the Lord—and I will be the glory in its midst.”(B)

Expansion on the Themes of the First Three Visions. 10 Up! Up! Flee from the land of the north[c]—oracle of the Lord;—For like the four winds of heaven I have dispersed you—oracle of the Lord.(C) 11 Up, Zion! Escape, you who dwell in daughter Babylon! 12 For thus says the Lord of hosts after the Lord’s glory had sent me, concerning the nations that have plundered you: Whoever strikes you strikes me directly in the eye.(D) 13 Now I wave my hand over them, and they become plunder for their own servants.(E) Thus you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me.

Romans 7:7-20

Acquaintance with Sin Through the Law. [a]What then can we say? That the law is sin? Of course not![b] Yet I did not know sin except through the law, and I did not know what it is to covet except that the law said, “You shall not covet.”(A) But sin, finding an opportunity in the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetousness. Apart from the law sin is dead.(B) I once lived outside the law, but when the commandment came, sin became alive; 10 then I died, and the commandment that was for life turned out to be death for me.(C) 11 For sin, seizing an opportunity in the commandment, deceived me and through it put me to death.(D) 12 So then the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.(E)

Sin and Death.[c] 13 Did the good, then, become death for me? Of course not! Sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin, worked death in me through the good, so that sin might become sinful beyond measure through the commandment.(F) 14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold into slavery to sin.(G) 15 What I do, I do not understand. For I do not do what I want, but I do what I hate. 16 Now if I do what I do not want, I concur that the law is good. 17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh. The willing is ready at hand, but doing the good is not.(H) 19 For I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want. 20 Now if [I] do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
