提摩太前书 3:14-4:5
敬虔的奥秘
14 我把这些事写给你，希望很快到你那里去。 15 就算我耽延了，你也可以知道在神的家里应该怎样行事。这家是永生神的教会，是真理的柱石和根基。 16 正如大家所承认的，敬神的奥秘是极大的：
神[a]以肉身显现，
被圣灵证实，
被天使观看，
被传于万邦，
被世人信仰，
被接在荣耀里。
背道的预言
4 不过圣灵明确地说，在末后的时代有些人会离开这信仰，听从迷惑人的邪灵和鬼魔的教义。 2 这些教义出于说谎之人的伪善，这些人的良心已经麻木了[b]。 3 他们禁止结婚，要求[c]远避某些食物，就是神所创造的，好让信徒和了解真理的人以感谢的心享用。 4 原来神所造的一切都是美好的；如果以感谢的心领受，就什么也不用丢弃， 5 因为藉着神的话语、藉着代求，这些都被分别为圣了。
