Psalm 66:1-9

Come and See the Works of God

For the choir director. A Song. A Psalm.

66 (A)Make a loud shout to God, all the earth;
Sing praise for the (B)glory of His name;
Establish His (C)praise as glorious.
Say to God, “How [a](D)fearsome are Your works!
Because of the abundance of Your strength Your enemies will [b](E)cower before You.
(F)All the earth will worship You,
And will (G)sing praises to You;
They will sing praises to Your name.” [c]Selah.

(H)Come and see the works of God,
Who is (I)fearsome in His deeds toward the sons of men.
He (J)turned the sea into dry land;
They passed through (K)the river on foot;
There let us (L)be glad in Him!
He (M)rules by His might forever;
His (N)eyes keep watch on the nations;
Let not the rebellious (O)exalt themselves. Selah.

Bless our God, O peoples,
And [d](P)make the sound of His praise heard,
Who [e](Q)establishes us among the living
And (R)does not allow our feet to stumble.

Zechariah 14:10-21

10 All the land will be changed into a plain from (A)Geba to (B)Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but [a]Jerusalem will (C)rise and (D)inhabit its site from (E)Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the (F)Corner Gate, and from the (G)Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses. 11 And [b]people will inhabit it, and there will (H)no longer be anything devoted to destruction, for Jerusalem will (I)be inhabited in security.

12 Now this will be the plague with which Yahweh will plague all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will (J)rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 13 And it will be in that day, that abundant confusion from Yahweh will [c]fall on them; and they will (K)take hold of one another’s hand, and the hand of one will [d]go up against the hand of another. 14 (L)And Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the (M)wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold and silver and garments in great abundance. 15 And in the same way, (N)the plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the cattle that will be in those camps will be like this plague.

16 Then it will be that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will (O)go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to celebrate the (P)Feast of Booths. 17 And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the (Q)King, Yahweh of hosts, there will be (R)no rain on them. 18 And if the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the (S)plague with which Yahweh plagues the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 19 This will be the [e]punishment of Egypt, and the [f]punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

20 In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “(T)Holy to Yahweh.” And the (U)pots in the house of Yahweh will be like the bowls before the altar. 21 And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be (V)holy to Yahweh of hosts; and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and boil in them. And there will no longer be a [g](W)Canaanite in the house of Yahweh of hosts in that day.

Luke 9:1-6

The Twelve Disciples Sent Out

(A)And calling the twelve together, He gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. And He sent them out to (B)preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, (C)Take nothing for your journey, (D)neither a staff, nor a [a]bag, nor bread, nor money; nor have two [b]tunics apiece. And whatever house you enter, stay there [c]until you leave that city. And as for those who do not receive you, as you go out from that city, (E)shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” And departing, they were going [d]throughout the villages, (F)proclaiming the gospel and healing everywhere.
