so that Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.(B)

Let the peoples praise You, God;
let all the peoples praise You.(C)
Let the nations rejoice and shout for joy,
for You judge the peoples with fairness
and lead the nations on earth.(D)Selah
Let the peoples praise You, God,
let all the peoples praise You.(E)

The earth has produced its harvest;
God, our God, blesses us.(F)
God will bless us,
and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.(G)

For the Lord gives wisdom;
from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.(A)
He stores up success[a] for the upright;
He is a shield for those who live with integrity(B)
so that He may guard the paths of justice
and protect the way of His loyal followers.(C)

Acts 16:1-8

Paul Selects Timothy

16 Then he went on to Derbe and Lystra, where there was a disciple named Timothy,(A) the son of a believing Jewish woman,(B) but his father was a Greek. The brothers at Lystra and Iconium spoke highly of him.(C) Paul wanted Timothy[a] to go with him, so he took him and circumcised(D) him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek. As they traveled through the towns, they delivered the decisions reached by the apostles and elders at Jerusalem for them to observe.(E) So the churches were strengthened in the faith and increased in number daily.(F)

Evangelization of Europe

They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia and were prevented by the Holy Spirit from speaking the message in Asia.(G) When they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus(H) did not allow them. So, bypassing Mysia, they came down to Troas.(I)
