Version
Psalm 119:89-96

Lamedh.

89 (A)Forever, O Lord,
Your word [a]is settled in heaven.
90 Your (B)faithfulness continues [b]throughout all generations;
You (C)established the earth, and it (D)stands.
91 They stand this day according to Your (E)ordinances,
For (F)all things are Your servants.
92 If Your law had not been my (G)delight,
Then I would have perished (H)in my affliction.
93 I will (I)never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have [c](J)revived me.
94 I am Yours, (K)save me;
For I have (L)sought Your precepts.
95 The wicked (M)wait for me to destroy me;
I shall diligently consider Your testimonies.
96 I have seen [d]a limit to all perfection;
Your commandment is exceedingly broad.

Jeremiah 36:27-32

The Scroll Is Replaced

27 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah after the king had (A)burned the scroll and the words which (B)Baruch had written at the dictation of Jeremiah, saying, 28 (C)Take again another scroll and write on it all the former words that were (D)on the first scroll which Jehoiakim the king of Judah burned. 29 And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, ‘Thus says the Lord, “You have (E)burned this scroll, saying, ‘(F)Why have you written on it [a]that the (G)king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will make man and beast to cease from it?’” 30 Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah, “He shall have (H)no one to sit on the throne of David, and his (I)dead body shall be cast out to the heat of the day and the frost of the night. 31 I will also (J)punish him and his [b]descendants and his servants for their iniquity, and I will (K)bring on them and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and the men of Judah all the calamity that I have declared to them—but they did not listen.”’”

32 Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the son of Neriah, the scribe, and he (L)wrote on it at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire; and many [c]similar words were added to them.

Luke 4:38-44

Many Are Healed

38 (A)Then He got up and left the synagogue, and entered Simon’s home. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was (B)suffering from a high fever, and they asked Him [a]to help her. 39 And standing over her, He (C)rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she immediately got up and [b]waited on them.

40 (D)While (E)the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and (F)laying His hands on each one of them, He was (G)healing them. 41 Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, “You are (H)the Son of God!” But (I)rebuking them, He would (J)not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be [c]the Christ.

42 (K)When day came, Jesus left and went to a secluded place; and the crowds were searching for Him, and came to Him and tried to keep Him from going away from them. 43 But He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, (L)for I was sent for this purpose.”

44 So He kept on preaching in the synagogues (M)of [d]Judea.
