Version
Psalm 146

The Lord an Abundant Helper.

146 [a]Praise [b]the Lord!
(A)Praise the Lord, O my soul!
I will praise the Lord (B)while I live;
I will (C)sing praises to my God while I have my being.
(D)Do not trust in princes,
In [c]mortal (E)man, in whom there is (F)no salvation.
His (G)spirit departs, he (H)returns to [d]the earth;
In that very day his (I)thoughts perish.
How (J)blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
Whose (K)hope is in the Lord his God,
Who (L)made heaven and earth,
The (M)sea and all that is in them;
Who (N)keeps [e]faith forever;
Who (O)executes justice for the oppressed;
Who (P)gives food to the hungry.
The Lord (Q)sets the prisoners free.

The Lord (R)opens the eyes of the blind;
The Lord (S)raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord (T)loves the righteous;
The Lord [f](U)protects the [g]strangers;
He [h](V)supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He [i]thwarts (W)the way of the wicked.
10 The Lord will (X)reign forever,
Your God, O Zion, to all generations.
[j]Praise [k]the Lord!

Isaiah 32:1-8

The Glorious Future

32 Behold, a (A)king will reign righteously
And princes will rule justly.
Each will be like a (B)refuge from the wind
And a shelter from the storm,
Like [a](C)streams of water in a dry country,
Like the (D)shade of a [b]huge rock in [c]a parched land.
Then (E)the eyes of those who see will not be [d]blinded,
And the ears of those who hear will listen.
The [e]mind of the (F)hasty will discern the [f]truth,
And the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.
No longer will the (G)fool be called noble,
Or the rogue be spoken of as generous.
For a fool speaks nonsense,
And his heart [g](H)inclines toward wickedness:
To practice (I)ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord,
To [h](J)keep the hungry person unsatisfied
And [i]to withhold drink from the thirsty.
As for a rogue, his weapons are evil;
He (K)devises wicked schemes
To (L)destroy the afflicted with [j]slander,
(M)Even though the needy one speaks [k]what is right.
But (N)the noble man devises noble plans;
And by noble plans he stands.

Romans 2:12-16

12 For all who have sinned [a](A)without the Law will also perish [b]without the Law, and all who have sinned [c]under the Law will be judged [d]by the Law; 13 for it is (B)not the hearers [e]of the Law who are [f]just before God, but the doers [g]of the Law will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles who do not have [h]the Law do [i](C)instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having [j]the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show (D)the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16 on the day when, (E)according to my gospel, (F)God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.
