Wisdom’s Invitation

Wisdom has (A)built her house,
She has hewn out her seven pillars;
She has [a](B)prepared her food, she has (C)mixed her wine;
She has also (D)set her table;
She has (E)sent out her maidens, she (F)calls
From the (G)tops of the heights of the city:
(H)Whoever is [b]naive, let him turn in here!”
To him who (I)lacks [c]understanding she says,
“Come, (J)eat of my food
And drink of the wine I have mixed.
[d]Forsake your folly and (K)live,
And (L)proceed in the way of understanding.”

Psalm 34:9-14

O fear the Lord, you (A)His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is (B)no want.
10 The young lions do lack and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the Lord shall (C)not be in want of any good thing.
11 (D)Come, you children, listen to me;
(E)I will teach you (F)the fear of the Lord.
12 (G)Who is the man who desires life
And loves length of days that he may (H)see good?
13 Keep (I)your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking (J)deceit.
14 (K)Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and (L)pursue it.

Ephesians 5:15-20

15 Therefore [a]be careful how you (A)walk, not (B)as unwise men but as wise, 16 [b](C)making the most of your time, because (D)the days are evil. 17 So then do not be foolish, but (E)understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And (F)do not get drunk with wine, [c]for that is (G)dissipation, but be (H)filled with the Spirit, 19 (I)speaking to [d]one another in (J)psalms and (K)hymns and spiritual (L)songs, (M)singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; 20 (N)always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to [e](O)God, even the Father;

John 6:51-58

51 (A)I am the living bread that (B)came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, (C)he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give (D)for the life of the world is (E)My flesh.”

52 (F)Then the Jews (G)began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of (H)the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will (I)raise him up on the last day. 55 For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood (J)abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the (K)living Father (L)sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which (M)came down out of heaven; not as (N)the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread (O)will live forever.”
