New King James Version (NKJV)
Version
Exodus 16:2-4

Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel (A)complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. And the children of Israel said to them, (B)“Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, (C)when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain (D)bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather [a]a certain quota every day, that I may (E)test them, whether they will (F)walk in My law or not.

Exodus 16:9-15

Then Moses spoke to Aaron, “Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, (A)‘Come near before the Lord, for He has heard your complaints.’ ” 10 Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord (B)appeared in the cloud.

11 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 12 (C)“I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, (D)‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and (E)in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’ ”

13 So it was that (F)quail came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning (G)the dew lay all around the camp. 14 And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was (H)a small round (I)substance, as fine as frost on the ground. 15 So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was.

And Moses said to them, (J)“This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.

Psalm 78:23-29

23 Yet He had commanded the clouds above,
(A)And opened the doors of heaven,
24 (B)Had rained down manna on them to eat,
And given them of the [a]bread of (C)heaven.
25 Men ate angels’ food;
He sent them food to [b]the full.

26 (D)He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens;
And by His power He brought in the south wind.
27 He also rained meat on them like the dust,
Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas;
28 And He let them fall in the midst of their camp,
All around their dwellings.
29 (E)So they ate and were well filled,
For He gave them their own desire.

Ephesians 4:1-16

Walk in Unity

I, therefore, the prisoner [a]of the Lord, [b]beseech you to (A)walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit (B)in the bond of peace. (C)There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; (D)one Lord, (E)one faith, (F)one baptism; (G)one God and Father of all, who is above all, and (H)through all, and in [c]you all.

Spiritual Gifts

But (I)to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says:

(J)“When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.”

(K)(Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also [d]first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One (L)who ascended far above all the heavens, (M)that He might fill all things.)

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, (N)for the [e]edifying of (O)the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith (P)and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to (Q)a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be (R)children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of (S)deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the (T)head—Christ— 16 (U)from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

John 6:24-35

24 when the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, (A)seeking Jesus. 25 And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You come here?”

26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 (B)Do not labor for the food which perishes, but (C)for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, (D)because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”

29 Jesus answered and said to them, (E)“This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

30 Therefore they said to Him, (F)“What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 (G)Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, (H)‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’

32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but (I)My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34 (J)Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”

35 And Jesus said to them, (K)“I am the bread of life. (L)He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never (M)thirst.
