New King James Version (NKJV)
Version
Psalm 78:23-29

23 Yet He had commanded the clouds above,
(A)And opened the doors of heaven,
24 (B)Had rained down manna on them to eat,
And given them of the [a]bread of (C)heaven.
25 Men ate angels’ food;
He sent them food to [b]the full.

26 (D)He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens;
And by His power He brought in the south wind.
27 He also rained meat on them like the dust,
Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas;
28 And He let them fall in the midst of their camp,
All around their dwellings.
29 (E)So they ate and were well filled,
For He gave them their own desire.

Exodus 13:3-10

The Feast of Unleavened Bread(A)

And Moses said to the people: (B)“Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of [a]bondage; for (C)by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. (D)No leavened bread shall be eaten. (E)On this day you are going out, in the month Abib. And it shall be, when the Lord (F)brings you into the (G)land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, which He (H)swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, (I)that you shall keep this service in this month. (J)Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the Lord. Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. And (K)no leavened bread shall be seen among you, nor shall leaven be seen among you in all your quarters. And you shall (L)tell your son in that day, saying, ‘This is done because of what the Lord did for me when I came up from Egypt.’ It shall be as (M)a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt. 10 (N)You shall therefore keep this [b]ordinance in its season from year to year.

Matthew 16:5-12

The Leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees(A)

Now (B)when His disciples had come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. Then Jesus said to them, (C)“Take heed and beware of the [a]leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have taken no bread.”

But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you [b]have brought no bread? (D)Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? 10 (E)Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up? 11 How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?—but to beware of the [c]leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the [d]doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
