Psalm 104:24-34

24 (A)O Lord, how manifold are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all.
The earth is full of Your (B)possessions—
25 This great and wide sea,
In which are innumerable teeming things,
Living things both small and great.
26 There the ships sail about;
There is that (C)Leviathan[a]
Which You have [b]made to play there.

27 (D)These all wait for You,
That You may give them their food in due season.
28 What You give them they gather in;
You open Your hand, they are filled with good.
29 You hide Your face, they are troubled;
(E)You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
30 (F)You send forth Your Spirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the earth.

31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
May the Lord (G)rejoice in His works.
32 He looks on the earth, and it (H)trembles;
(I)He touches the hills, and they smoke.

33 (J)I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 May my (K)meditation be sweet to Him;
I will be glad in the Lord.

Psalm 104:35

35 May (A)sinners be consumed from the earth,
And the wicked be no more.

Bless the Lord, O my soul!
[a]Praise the Lord!

Numbers 11:24-30

24 So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord, and he (A)gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle. 25 Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, (B)when the Spirit rested upon them, that (C)they prophesied, [a]although they never did so again.

26 But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who (D)had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp. 27 And a young man ran and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”

28 So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord, (E)forbid them!”

29 Then Moses said to him, “Are you [b]zealous for my sake? (F)Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!” 30 And Moses returned to the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

John 7:37-39

The Promise of the Holy Spirit

37 (A)On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, (B)“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 (C)He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, (D)out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 (E)But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those [a]believing in Him would receive; for the [b]Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet (F)glorified.
