看到基督的荣耀
16 我们告诉过你们关于主耶稣基督的力量和来临之事，那不是我们别出心裁的发明。而是我们亲眼目睹了耶稣的伟大。 17 当耶稣从父上帝那里领受到荣誉和荣耀的时候，他听到了至高的荣耀上帝的声音。那声音说∶“这是我亲爱的儿子，他令我非常喜悦。” 18 当时我们和耶稣一起在圣山上，我们也听到了来自天堂的那个声音。
19 这使我们更加肯定先知 [a]所说的话。认真遵守先知所说的话对你们是有益的。他们所说的就像黑暗中的一盏发光的明灯，一直照耀到天明，直到晨星在你们心中升起为止。 20 最重要的，你们必须理解这点∶《经》里的预言不是出自先知自己的解释。 21 因为从来就没有预言诞生于人的意愿，而是人受到了圣灵的引导才讲出上帝的信息。
