Wisdom’s Invitation

Wisdom has (A)built her house,
She has carved out her seven pillars;
She has [a](B)prepared her food, she has (C)mixed her wine;
She has also (D)set her table;
She has (E)sent out her attendants, she (F)calls out
From the (G)tops of the heights of the city:
(H)Whoever is naive, let him turn in here!”
To him who (I)lacks [b]understanding she says,
“Come, (J)eat of my food
And drink of the wine I have mixed.
[c]Abandon your foolishness and (K)live,
And (L)proceed in the way of understanding.”

Psalm 34:9-14

Fear the Lord, you (A)His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is (B)no lack of anything.
10 The young lions do without and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the Lord will (C)not lack any good thing.
11 (D)Come, you children, listen to me;
(E)I will teach you (F)the fear of the Lord.
12 (G)Who is the person who desires life
And loves length of days, that he may (H)see good?
13 Keep (I)your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking (J)deceit.
14 (K)Turn from evil and do good;
Seek peace and (L)pursue it.

Ephesians 5:15-20

15 So then, [a]be careful how you (A)walk, not (B)as unwise people but as wise, 16 [b](C)making the most of your time, because (D)the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but (E)understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And (F)do not get drunk with wine, [c]in which there is (G)debauchery, but be (H)filled with the Spirit, 19 (I)speaking to [d]one another in (J)psalms and (K)hymns and spiritual (L)songs, (M)singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord; 20 (N)always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our (O)God and Father;

John 6:51-58

51 (A)I am the living bread that (B)came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, (C)he will live forever; and the bread which I will give (D)for the life of the world also is (E)My flesh.”

52 (F)Then the Jews (G)began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of (H)the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will (I)raise him up on the last day. 55 For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. 56 The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood (J)remains in Me, and I in him. 57 Just as the (K)living Father (L)sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread that (M)came down out of heaven, not as (N)the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread (O)will live forever.”
