Psalm 102:12-28

12 But you, O Lord, are (A)enthroned for ever;
    you (B)are remembered throughout all generations.
13 You will (C)arise and have (D)pity on Zion;
    it is the time to favour her;
    (E)the appointed time has come.
14 For your servants hold her (F)stones dear
    and have pity on her dust.
15 Nations will (G)fear the name of the Lord,
    and all (H)the kings of the earth will fear your glory.
16 For the Lord (I)builds up Zion;
    he (J)appears in his glory;
17 he (K)regards the prayer of the destitute
    and does not despise their prayer.
18 Let this be (L)recorded for (M)a generation to come,
    so that (N)a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:
19 that he (O)looked down from his holy height;
    from heaven the Lord looked at the earth,
20 to hear (P)the groans of the prisoners,
    to set free (Q)those who were doomed to die,
21 that they may (R)declare in Zion the name of the Lord,
    and in Jerusalem his praise,
22 when (S)peoples gather together,
    and kingdoms, to worship the Lord.
23 He has broken my strength in midcourse;
    he (T)has shortened my days.
24 “O my God,” (U)I say, “take me not away
    in the midst of my days—
(V)you whose years endure
    throughout all generations!”
25 (W)Of old you laid the foundation of the earth,
    and (X)the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 (Y)They will perish, but (Z)you will remain;
    they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
27     but (AA)you are the same, and your years have no end.
28 (AB)The children of your servants (AC)shall dwell secure;
    (AD)their offspring shall be established before you.

2 Kings 8:1-6

The Shunammite's Land Restored

Now Elisha had said to the woman (A)whose son he had restored to life, “Arise, and depart with your household, and sojourn wherever you can, for the Lord (B)has called for a famine, and it will come upon the land for (C)seven years.” So the woman arose and did according to the word of the man of God. She went with her household and sojourned in the land of the Philistines for seven years. And at the end of the seven years, when the woman returned from the land of the Philistines, she went to appeal to the king for her house and her land. Now the king was talking with (D)Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, “Tell me all the great things that Elisha has done.” And while he was telling the king how (E)Elisha had restored the dead to life, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and her land. And Gehazi said, “My lord, O king, here is the woman, and here is her son whom Elisha restored to life.” And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed an official for her, saying, “Restore all that was hers, together with all the produce of the fields from the day that she left the land until now.”

Acts 15:36-41

Paul and Barnabas Separate

36 And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit (A)the brothers (B)in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.” 37 Now Barnabas wanted to take with them (C)John called Mark. 38 But Paul thought best not to take with them one (D)who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. 39 And there arose (E)a sharp disagreement, so that they separated from each other. (F)Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus, 40 but Paul chose Silas and departed, (G)having been commended by (H)the brothers to (I)the grace of the Lord. 41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, (J)strengthening the churches.
