Psalm 95:1-7

Psalm 95

Come,(A) let us sing for joy(B) to the Lord;
    let us shout aloud(C) to the Rock(D) of our salvation.
Let us come before him(E) with thanksgiving(F)
    and extol him with music(G) and song.

For the Lord is the great God,(H)
    the great King(I) above all gods.(J)
In his hand are the depths of the earth,(K)
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.(L)

Come, let us bow down(M) in worship,(N)
    let us kneel(O) before the Lord our Maker;(P)
for he is our God
    and we are the people of his pasture,(Q)
    the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice,

Isaiah 44:21-28

21 “Remember(A) these things, Jacob,
    for you, Israel, are my servant.(B)
I have made you, you are my servant;(C)
    Israel, I will not forget you.(D)
22 I have swept away(E) your offenses like a cloud,
    your sins like the morning mist.
Return(F) to me,
    for I have redeemed(G) you.”

23 Sing for joy,(H) you heavens, for the Lord has done this;
    shout aloud, you earth(I) beneath.
Burst into song, you mountains,(J)
    you forests and all your trees,(K)
for the Lord has redeemed(L) Jacob,
    he displays his glory(M) in Israel.

Jerusalem to Be Inhabited

24 “This is what the Lord says—
    your Redeemer,(N) who formed(O) you in the womb:(P)

I am the Lord,
    the Maker of all things,
    who stretches out the heavens,(Q)
    who spreads out the earth(R) by myself,
25 who foils(S) the signs of false prophets
    and makes fools of diviners,(T)
who overthrows the learning of the wise(U)
    and turns it into nonsense,(V)
26 who carries out the words(W) of his servants
    and fulfills(X) the predictions of his messengers,

who says of Jerusalem,(Y) ‘It shall be inhabited,’
    of the towns of Judah, ‘They shall be rebuilt,’
    and of their ruins,(Z) ‘I will restore them,’(AA)
27 who says to the watery deep, ‘Be dry,
    and I will dry up(AB) your streams,’
28 who says of Cyrus,(AC) ‘He is my shepherd
    and will accomplish all that I please;
he will say of Jerusalem,(AD) “Let it be rebuilt,”
    and of the temple,(AE) “Let its foundations(AF) be laid.”’

Matthew 12:46-50

Jesus’ Mother and Brothers(A)

46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother(B) and brothers(C) stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”

48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven(D) is my brother and sister and mother.”
