Version
Zechariah 9:9-12

(A)Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion!
Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your (B)king is coming to you;
He is [a](C)righteous and (D)endowed with salvation,
(E)Humble, and mounted on a donkey,
Even on a (F)colt, the [b]foal of a donkey.
10 And I will (G)eliminate the chariot from Ephraim
And the (H)horse from Jerusalem;
And the (I)bow of war will be eliminated.
And He will speak (J)peace to the nations;
And His (K)dominion will be from sea to sea,
And from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

Restoration of Judah and Ephraim

11 As for you also, because of the (L)blood of My covenant with you,
I have set your (M)prisoners free from the [c]waterless pit.
12 Return to the [d](N)stronghold, you prisoners [e]who have the (O)hope;
This very day I am declaring that I will restore (P)double to you.

Psalm 145:8-14

The Lord is (A)gracious and compassionate;
Slow to anger and great in mercy.
The Lord is (B)good to all,
And His (C)mercies are over all His works.
10 (D)All Your works will give thanks to You, Lord,
And Your (E)godly ones will bless You.
11 They will speak of the (F)glory of Your kingdom,
And talk of Your might,
12 To (G)make known to the sons of mankind [a]Your mighty acts,
And the (H)glory of the majesty of [b]Your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is [c]an (I)everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
[d]The Lord is faithful in His words,
And holy in all His works.

14 The Lord (J)supports all who fall,
And (K)raises up all who are bowed down.

Romans 7:15-25

15 For (A)I do not understand what I am doing; for I am not practicing (B)what I want to do, but I do the very thing I hate. 16 However, if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with (C)the Law, that the Law is good. 17 But now, (D)no longer am I the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my (E)flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. 19 For (F)the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. 20 But if I do the very thing I do not want, (G)I am no longer the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.

21 I find then (H)the [a]principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. 22 For I joyfully agree with the law of God [b]in (I)the inner person, 23 but I see (J)a different law in [c]the parts of my body waging war against the (K)law of my mind, and making me a prisoner [d]of (L)the law of sin, the law which is in [e]my body’s parts. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from [f](M)the body of this (N)death? 25 (O)Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh (P)the law of sin.

Matthew 11:16-19

16 “But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the marketplaces, who call out to the other children, 17 and say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a song of mourning, and you did not [a]mourn.’ 18 For John came neither (A)eating nor (B)drinking, and they say, ‘(C)He has a demon!’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man and a [b]heavy drinker, (D)a friend of tax collectors and [c]sinners!’ And yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”

Matthew 11:25-30

Come to Me

25 [a](A)At that time Jesus said, “I praise You, (B)Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that (C)You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to infants. 26 Yes, (D)Father, for this way was well pleasing in Your sight. 27 (E)All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father (F)except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.

28 (G)Come to Me, all [b]who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and (H)learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and (I)you will find [c]rest for your souls. 30 For (J)My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.”
