Psalm 100

His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

A Psalm for (A)giving thanks.

100 (B)Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
    (C)Serve the Lord with gladness!
    (D)Come into his presence with singing!

Know that (E)the Lord, he is God!
    It is he who (F)made us, and (G)we are his;[a]
    we are his (H)people, and (I)the sheep of his pasture.

(J)Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his (K)courts with praise!
    Give thanks to him; (L)bless his name!

(M)For the Lord is good;
    his steadfast love endures forever,
    and his (N)faithfulness to all generations.

Exodus 4:27-31

27 The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness (A)to meet Moses.” So he went and met him at the (B)mountain of God and kissed him. 28 And Moses (C)told Aaron all the words of the Lord with which he had sent him to speak, and all (D)the signs that he had commanded him to do. 29 Then Moses and Aaron (E)went and gathered together all the elders of the people of Israel. 30 (F)Aaron spoke all the words that the Lord had spoken to Moses and did the signs in the sight of the people. 31 And the people (G)believed; and when they heard that the Lord had (H)visited the people of Israel and that he had (I)seen their affliction, (J)they bowed their heads and worshiped.

Acts 7:35-43

35 “This Moses, whom they rejected, (A)saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’—this man God sent as both ruler and redeemer (B)by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush. 36 (C)This man led them out, performing (D)wonders and signs (E)in Egypt and (F)at the Red Sea and (G)in the wilderness for (H)forty years. 37 This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you (I)a prophet like me from your brothers.’ 38 This is the one (J)who was in the congregation in the wilderness with (K)the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and with our fathers. (L)He received (M)living (N)oracles to give to us. 39 Our fathers refused to obey him, but thrust him aside, and (O)in their hearts they turned to Egypt, 40 saying to Aaron, (P)‘Make for us gods who will go before us. As for this Moses who led us out from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’ 41 And (Q)they made a calf in those days, and offered a sacrifice to the idol and (R)were rejoicing in (S)the works of their hands. 42 But (T)God turned away and (U)gave them over to worship (V)the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets:

(W)“‘Did you bring to me slain beasts and sacrifices,
    (X)during the forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
43 You took up the tent of (Y)Moloch
    and the star of your god Rephan,
    the images that you made to worship;
and I will send you into exile beyond Babylon.’
