Psalm 130

Hope in the Lords Forgiving Love.

A Song of Ascents.

130 Out of the (A)depths I have cried to You, Lord.
Lord, (B)hear my voice!
Let (C)Your ears be attentive
To the (D)sound of my pleadings.
If You, [a]Lord, were to keep account of guilty deeds,
Lord, who could (E)stand?
But there is (F)forgiveness with You,
So that You may be [b](G)revered.

I wait for the Lord, my (H)soul waits,
And I [c]wait (I)for His word.
My soul waits in hope for the Lord
More than the watchmen (J)for the morning;
Yes, more than the watchmen for the morning.
Israel, (K)wait for the Lord;
For with the Lord there is (L)mercy,
And with Him is (M)abundant redemption.
And He will (N)redeem Israel
From all his guilty deeds.

Ezekiel 33:10-16

10 “Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what you have [a]said: “Surely our offenses and our sins are upon us, and we are (A)rotting away in them; (B)how then can we [b]survive?”’ 11 Say to them, ‘(C)As I live!’ declares the Lord [c]God, ‘I take (D)no pleasure at all in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked (E)turn from his way and live. (F)Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then should you die, house of Israel?’ 12 And you, son of man, say to [d]your fellow citizens, ‘The (G)righteousness of a righteous one will not save him on the day of his offense, and as for the wickedness of a wicked one, he will (H)not stumble because of it on the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous one will not be able to live [e]by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.’ 13 When I say to the righteous that he will certainly live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he (I)commits injustice, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but for that same injustice of his which he has committed he will die. 14 But when I say to the wicked, ‘You will certainly die,’ and he (J)turns from his sin and practices (K)justice and righteousness, 15 if a wicked person returns a pledge, (L)pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the (M)statutes [f]which ensure life without committing injustice, he shall certainly live; he shall not die. 16 (N)None of his sins that he has committed will be remembered against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he shall certainly live.

Revelation 11:15-19

The Seventh Trumpet: Christ’s Reign Foreseen

15 Then the (A)seventh angel sounded; and there were (B)loud voices in heaven, saying,

(C)The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of (D)His [a]Christ; and (E)He will reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders, who (F)sit on their thrones before God, (G)fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying,

“We give You thanks, (H)Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to (I)reign. 18 And (J)the nations were enraged, and (K)Your wrath came, and (L)the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to [b]reward Your (M)bond-servants the prophets and the [c]saints and those who fear Your name, (N)the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

19 And (O)the [d]temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and (P)the ark of His covenant appeared in His [e]temple, and there were flashes of (Q)lightning and sounds and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a (R)great [f]hailstorm.
