Version
Psalm 109:21-31

21 But You, [a]God, the Lord, deal kindly with me (A)for the sake of Your name;
Because (B)Your mercy is good, rescue me;
22 For (C)I am afflicted and needy,
And [b]my heart is (D)wounded within me.
23 I am passing (E)like a shadow when it lengthens;
I am shaken off (F)like the locust.
24 My (G)knees [c]are weak from (H)fasting,
And my flesh has grown lean, without fatness.
25 I also have become a (I)disgrace to them;
When they see me, they (J)shake their head.

26 (K)Help me, Lord my God;
Save me according to Your mercy.
27 [d]And may they (L)know that this is Your hand;
You, Lord, have done it.
28 (M)They will curse, but You bless;
When they arise, they will be ashamed,
But Your (N)servant will be glad.
29 [e]May (O)my accusers be clothed with dishonor,
And [f]may they (P)cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.

30 With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord;
And (Q)I will praise Him in the midst of many.
31 For He stands (R)at the right hand of the needy,
To save him from those who (S)judge his soul.

Ezekiel 20:18-32

18 “Instead, I said to their [a](A)children in the wilderness, ‘(B)Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers or keep their ordinances or defile yourselves with their idols. 19 (C)I am the Lord your God; (D)walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and [b]follow them. 20 (E)Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’ 21 But the (F)children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, nor were they careful to [c]follow My ordinances which, if [d]a person [e]follows them, then he will live by them; they profaned My Sabbaths. So I [f]resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to [g]use up My anger against them in the wilderness. 22 But I (G)withdrew My hand and acted (H)for the sake of My name, so that it would not be defiled in the sight of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out. 23 Also I swore to them in the wilderness that I would (I)scatter them among the nations and disperse them among the lands, 24 because they had not [h]complied with My ordinances, but had rejected My statutes and had profaned My Sabbaths, and (J)their eyes were [i]on the idols of their fathers. 25 I also gave them statutes that were (K)not good, and ordinances by which they could not live; 26 and I pronounced them (L)unclean because of their gifts, in that they (M)made all [j]their firstborn pass through the fire so that I might make them desolate, in order that they might (N)know that I am the Lord.”’

27 “Therefore (O)speak to the house of Israel, son of man, and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “Again, in this your fathers have (P)blasphemed Me by (Q)being disloyal to Me. 28 When I had (R)brought them into the land which I swore to give to them, then they saw every (S)high hill and every tree thick with branches, and there they offered their sacrifices and there they presented the provocation of their offering. There also they made their soothing aroma and there they poured out their drink offerings. 29 Then I said to them, ‘What is the high place to which you go?’ So its name is called [k]Bamah to this day.”’ 30 Therefore, say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “Will you defile yourselves in the way of your (T)fathers and adulterously pursue their detestable things? 31 And [l]when you offer your gifts, when you (U)make your sons pass through the fire, you are defiling yourselves with all your idols to this day. So shall I be inquired of by you, house of Israel? As I live,” declares the Lord God, “I certainly will not be inquired of by you. 32 And whatever (V)comes [m]into your mind certainly will not come about, when you say: ‘We will be like the nations, like the families of the lands, (W)serving wood and stone.’

Revelation 3:7-13

Message to Philadelphia

“And to the angel of the church in (A)Philadelphia write:

(B)He who is holy, (C)who is true, who has (D)the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this:

(E)I know your [a]deeds. Behold, I have put before you (F)an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have followed My word, and (G)have not denied My name. Behold, I [b]will make those of (H)the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them (I)come and bow down before your feet, and make them know that (J)I have loved you. 10 Because you have (K)kept (L)My [c]word of perseverance, (M)I also will keep you from the hour of the [d](N)testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole [e](O)world, to [f]test (P)those who live on the earth. 11 (Q)I am coming quickly; (R)hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your (S)crown. 12 (T)The one who overcomes, I will make him a (U)pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the (V)name of My God, and (W)the name of the city of My God, (X)the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My (Y)new name. 13 (Z)The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
