Revised Common Lectionary (Complementary)
13 And one of the elders responded, saying to me, “These ones having been clothed-with the white robes— who are they, and from where did they come?” 14 And I have said to him, “My lord, you know”. And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great affliction[a]. And they washed their robes and made them white[b] in the blood of the Lamb. 15 For this reason, they are before the throne of God, and they are serving[c] Him by day and by night in His temple. And the One sitting on the throne will dwell over them. 16 They will not hunger anymore, nor thirst anymore, nor may the sun fall upon them, nor any scorching-heat. 17 Because the Lamb at the center of the throne will shepherd them, and guide them to springs of the waters of life. And God will wipe-away[d] every tear from their eyes”.
