¹³ And one of the elders responded, saying to me, “These ones having been clothed-with the white robes— who are they, and from where did they come?” ¹⁴ And I have said to him, “My lord, you know”. And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great affliction^[a]. And they washed their robes and made them white^[b] in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ For this reason, they are before the throne of God, and they are serving^[c] Him by day and by night in His temple. And the One sitting on the throne will dwell over them. ¹⁶ They will not hunger anymore, nor thirst anymore, nor may the sun fall upon them, nor any scorching-heat. ¹⁷ Because the Lamb at the center of the throne will shepherd them, and guide them to springs of the waters of life. And God will wipe-away^[d] every tear from their eyes”.
