Version
Psalm 50:7-15

“Hear, O My people, and I will speak,
    O Israel, and I will testify against you;
    I am God, even your God.
I will not reprove you for your sacrifices
    or for your burnt offerings that are continually before Me.
I will take no young bull out of your house,
    nor male goats out of your folds.
10 For every wild animal of the forest is Mine,
    and the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know every bird of the mountains,
    and the creatures that move in the field are Mine.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you;
    for the world is Mine, and all its fullness.
13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls,
    or drink the blood of goats?

14 Sacrifice a thank offering to God,
    and pay your vows to the Most High,
15 and call on Me in the day of trouble;
    I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me.”

Exodus 34:1-9

The New Stone Tablets

34 Now the Lord said to Moses, “Cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. Be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to Me on the top of the mountain. No one is to come up with you. Do not let anyone be seen anywhere on the mountain, and the flocks or herds may not graze in front of the mountain.”

So he cut out two tablets of stone like the first, and Moses rose up early in the morning and went up to Mount Sinai, just as the Lord had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tablets of stone. Then the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. The Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

Moses made haste and bowed to the ground and worshipped. He said, “If now I have found favor in Your sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray, go among us, for we are a stiff-necked people. Pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”

Matthew 9:27-34

The Healing of Two Blind Men

27 As Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

28 When He entered the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith, let it be done for you.” 30 And their eyes were opened, and Jesus strictly commanded them, saying, “See that no one knows of it.” 31 But when they had departed, they spread His fame in all that region.

The Healing of a Mute Man

32 As they went out, they brought to Him a mute man possessed with a demon. 33 And when the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke, and the crowds were amazed, saying, “This has never been seen in Israel.”

34 But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons through the ruler of the demons.”
