在迦百農治病
38 耶穌起身離開會堂，進了西門的家。西門的岳母正發高燒，他們就為她求耶穌。 39 耶穌就站在她旁邊，斥責那高燒，燒就退了。她立刻起來，服事他們。
40 日落的時候，眾人把患有各種疾病的人都帶到耶穌那裡。他按手在他們每一個人身上，使他們痊癒。 41 也有鬼魔從許多人身上出來，喊叫說：「你是[a]神的兒子！」耶穌斥責它們，不讓它們說話，因為它們知道他是基督。
