Psalm 106:1-12

106 Praise the LORD because He is good; for His mercy endures forever!

Who can express the noble acts of the LORD, or proclaim all His praise?

Blessed are those who guard justice and do righteousness at all times.

Remember me, O LORD, with the favor of Your people. Visit me with Your salvation,

so that I may see the good things of Your chosen and rejoice in the joy of Your people, and glory with Your inheritance.

We have sinned with our Fathers. We have committed iniquity and done wickedly.

Our Fathers did not understand Your wonders in Egypt, nor did they remember the multitude of Your mercies; but they rebelled at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

Nevertheless, He saved them for His Name’s sake, so that He might make His power known.

And He rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up; and He led them through the deep, as through the wilderness.

10 And He saved them from the adversary’s hand and delivered them from the hand of the enemy.

11 And the waters covered their oppressors. Not one of them was left.

12 Then they believed His words and sang praise to Him.

Genesis 28:10-17

10 Now Jacob departed from Beersheba and went to Haran,

11 And he came to a place and stayed there all night because the Sun was down. And he took from the stones of the place and laid them under his head and slept in the same place.

12 Then he dreamed; and behold, there stood a ladder upon the Earth. And the top of it reached up to Heaven. And lo, the angels of God went up and down by it.

13 And behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, “I am the LORD God of Abraham, your father, and the God of Isaac. The land upon the which you sleep I will give you and your seed.

14 “And your seed shall be as the dust of the Earth; and you shall spread out to the west and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in you and in your seed shall all the families of the Earth be blessed.

15 “And lo, I am with you and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you back into this land. For I will not forsake you until I have performed that which I have promised you.”

16 Then Jacob awoke out of his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place; and I was not aware.”

17 And he was afraid, and said, “How fearful is this place! This is none other but the House of God; and this is the Gate of Heaven.”

Romans 16:17-20

17 Now I urge you, brothers, mark carefully those who cause division and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them.

18 For such as they do not serve the Lord Jesus Christ, but their own bellies; and deceive the hearts of the simple with fair speech and flattering.

19 For your obedience has spread among all. Therefore, I am glad for you. But yet, I wish you to be wise to that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

20 The God of peace shall tread Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
