Death of Joseph

²² Now Joseph stayed in Egypt, he and his father’s household, and Joseph lived one hundred and ten years. ²³ Joseph saw the third generation of Ephraim’s sons; also the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were ^(A)born on Joseph’s knees. ²⁴ Joseph said to his brothers, “^(B)I am about to die, but God will surely ^[a]take care of you and bring you up from this land to the land which He ^[b]promised on oath to ^(C)Abraham, to ^(D)Isaac and to ^(E)Jacob.” ²⁵ Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, “God will surely ^[c]take care of you, and ^(F)you shall carry my bones up from here.” ²⁶ So Joseph died at the age of one hundred and ten years; and ^[d]he was ^(G)embalmed and placed in a coffin in Egypt.

^20 (A)As they were passing by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots up. ²¹ Being reminded, Peter *said to Him, “^(B)Rabbi, look, the fig tree which You cursed has withered.” ²² And Jesus *answered saying to them, “^(C)Have faith in God. ^23 (D)Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. ²⁴ Therefore I say to you, ^(E)all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. ²⁵ Whenever you ^(F)stand praying, ^(G)forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.
