Psalm 67

A Prayer of Blessing

For the music director, with stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.[a]

67 May God be gracious to us and bless us.
May he cause his face to shine toward us, Selah
that your way may be known on the earth,
your salvation among all nations.
Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all of the peoples praise you.
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,
because you judge the peoples with equity
and guide the nations on the earth. Selah
Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you.
The earth has yielded its produce.
God, our God, will bless us.
God will bless us,
and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

Isaiah 56:1-5

Salvation for All Who Obey

56 Thus says Yahweh:

“Observe justice
    and do righteousness,
for my salvation is close to coming,
    and my justice to being revealed.
Happy is the man who does this,
    and the son of humankind who keeps hold of it,
who keeps the Sabbath so as not to profane[a] it,
    and who keeps his hand from doing any[b] evil.”
And do not let the foreigner[c] who joins himself to Yahweh say, “Surely Yahweh will separate me from his people.”
    And do not let the eunuch say, “Look! I am a dry tree!”
For thus says Yahweh, “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths,
    and choose that in which I delight,
    and who keep hold of my covenant.
And I will give them a monument and a name in my house and within my walls,
    better than sons and daughters;
I will give him an everlasting name
    that shall not be cut off.

Matthew 14:34-36

Many Healed at Gennesaret

34 And after they[a] had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. 35 And when[b] the men of that place recognized him, they sent word into that whole surrounding region, and they brought to him all those who were sick.[c] 36 And they were imploring him that they might only touch the edge[d] of his cloak, and all those who touched it[e] were cured.
