^3 (B)The ^[a]pains of death surrounded me,
And the ^[b]pangs of Sheol ^[c]laid hold of me;
I found trouble and sorrow.
⁴ Then I called upon the name of the Lord:
“O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!”

¹² What shall I render to the Lord
For all His benefits toward me?
¹³ I will take up the cup of salvation,
And call upon the name of the Lord.
^14 (A)I will pay my vows to the Lord
Now in the presence of all His people.

^15 (B)Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints.

¹⁶ O Lord, truly ^(C)I am Your servant;
I am Your servant, ^(D)the son of Your maidservant;
You have loosed my bonds.
¹⁷ I will offer to You ^(E)the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And will call upon the name of the Lord.

¹⁸ I will pay my vows to the Lord
Now in the presence of all His people,
¹⁹ In the ^(F)courts of the Lord’s house,
In the midst of you, O Jerusalem.

^[a]Praise the Lord!

⁶ And in ^(A)this mountain
^(B)The Lord of hosts will make for ^(C)all people
A feast of ^[a]choice pieces,
A feast of ^[b]wines on the lees,
Of fat things full of marrow,
Of well-refined wines on the lees.
⁷ And He will destroy on this mountain
The surface of the covering cast over all people,
And ^(D)the veil that is spread over all nations.
⁸ He will ^(E)swallow up death forever,
And the Lord God will ^(F)wipe away tears from all faces;
The rebuke of His people
He will take away from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.

⁹ And it will be said in that day:
“Behold, this is our God;
^(G)We have waited for Him, and He will save us.
This is the Lord;
We have waited for Him;
^(H)We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”
