21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 16

16 Preserve me, O God, for in Thee do I put my trust.

O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, “Thou art my Lord; my goodness extendeth not to Thee,

but to the saints that are on the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.”

Their sorrows shall be multiplied, that hasten after another god; their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names upon my lips.

The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup; Thou maintainest my lot.

The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

I will bless the Lord who hath given me counsel; my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Therefore my heart is glad and my spirit rejoiceth; my flesh also shall rest in hope.

10 For Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt Thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption.

11 Thou wilt show me the path of life; in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Song of Solomon 5:9-6:3

“What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? What is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?”

10 “My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

11 His head is as the most fine gold; his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.

12 His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.

13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers; his lips like lilies, dropping sweetsmelling myrrh.

14 His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl; his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires.

15 His legs are as pillars of marble set upon sockets of fine gold; his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.

16 His mouth is most sweet; yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.”

“Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? Whither is thy beloved turned aside, that we may seek him with thee?”

“My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens and to gather lilies.

I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine; he feedeth among the lilies.”

1 Corinthians 15:1-11

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which you also have received, and wherein ye stand,

by which ye also are saved if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you— unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received: how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

and that He was buried, and that He arose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve,

and that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some have fallen asleep.

After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

And last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

For I am the least of the apostles, not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all — yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
