Psalm 95

95 Come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us sing aloud to the Rock of our Salvation!

Let us come before His Face with praise. Let us sing loud to Him with Psalms.

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods,

in Whose hand are the deep places of the Earth, and the heights of the mountains are His.

The sea belongs to Him, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us worship and bow down, and kneel before the LORD our Maker.

For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His Hand. Today, if you will hear His voice,

“Do not harden your heart as in Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

“when your fathers tempted Me (tested Me) though they had seen My work.

10 “Forty years I have contended with this generation, and said they are a people that err in heart, for they have not known My ways.

11 “Therefore, I swore in My wrath, saying, ‘Surely, they shall not enter into My rest.’”

Exodus 16:1-8

16 Afterward, all the Congregation of the children of Israel departed from Elim, and came to the wilderness of Sin, (which is between Elim and Sinai) on the fifteenth day of the second month, after their departure from the land of Egypt.

And the whole Congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses, and against Aaron, in the wilderness.

For the children of Israel said to them, “Oh, that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots, when we ate bread, our bellies full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness, to kill this whole company with famine.”

Then, the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I will cause bread to rain from Heaven to you. And the people shall go out and gather that which is sufficient for each day, so that I may test them (whether they will walk in My law or not).

“But, on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they shall bring home; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.”

Then, Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, “At evening, you shall know that the LORD brought you out of the land of Egypt.

“And in the morning, you shall see the Glory of the LORD. For He has heard your complaints against the LORD. And what are we, that you have murmured against us?”

Again, Moses said, “At evening, the LORD shall give you meat to eat, and in the morning your fill of bread. For the LORD has heard your murmurings which you murmur against Him. For what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.”

Colossians 1:15-23

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creation.

16 For by Him were all things created which are in Heaven and which are on Earth—things visible and invisible —whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

17 And He is before all things. And in Him all things consist.

18 And He is the Head of the body of the Church. He is the Beginning; Firstborn from the dead; so that in all things He might have preeminence.

19 For in Him was all fullness pleased to dwell.

20 And through Him were all things reconciled to Himself, having made peace by the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on Earth or things in Heaven.

21 And you also - who were in times past estranged and hostile because your minds were set on evil works - He has now reconciled

22 in the body of His flesh through death; to present you as holy and blameless and beyond reproach in His sight

23 if you continue to be grounded and established in the faith and are not moved away from the hope of the Gospel which you have heard (having been preached to all creation under Heaven, and to which I, Paul, am a minister).
