21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 72

72 Give the king Thy judgments, O God, and Thy righteousness unto the king’s son.

Then shall he judge Thy people with righteousness, and Thy poor with judgment.

The mountains shall bring peace to the people and the little hills, by righteousness.

He shall judge the poor of the people; he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

They shall fear Thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.

In his days shall the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him, and his enemies shall lick the dust.

10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him; all nations shall serve him.

12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also and him that hath no helper.

13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.

14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence, and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given from the gold of Sheba; prayer also shall be made for him continually, and daily shall he be praised.

16 There shall be corn by the handful in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall wave like Lebanon, and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

17 His name shall endure for ever, his name shall be continued as long as the sun, and men shall be blessed in him; all nations shall call him blessed.

18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone doeth wondrous things.

19 And blessed be His glorious name for ever, and let the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen.

20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

1 Kings 10:14-25

14 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,

15 besides what he had from the merchants, and from the traffic of the spice merchants, and from all the kings of Arabia, and from the governors of the country.

16 And King Solomon made two hundred bucklers of beaten gold; six hundred shekels of gold went to one buckler.

17 And he made three hundred shields of beaten gold; three pounds of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

18 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold.

19 The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind and there were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays.

20 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.

21 And all King Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were of pure gold. None were of silver; it was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon.

22 For the king had at sea a navy of Tarshish with the navy of Hiram. Once in three years came the navy of Tarshish bringing gold and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

23 So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.

24 And all the earth sought Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.

25 And they brought every man his present: vessels of silver and vessels of gold, and garments, and armor, and spices, horses, and mules, at a set rate year by year.

Ephesians 4:7

But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Ephesians 4:11-16

11 And He gave some to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

12 for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ,

13 until we all come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

14 that we henceforth be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men and their cunning and craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, even Christ,

16 from whom the whole body, fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
