21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 21

21 The king shall rejoice in Thy strength, O Lord; and in Thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withheld the request of his lips. Selah

For Thou goest before him with the blessings of goodness; Thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

He asked life of Thee and Thou gavest it to him, even length of days for ever and ever.

His glory is great in Thy salvation; honor and majesty hast Thou laid upon him.

For Thou hast made him most blessed for ever; Thou hast made him exceeding glad with Thy countenance.

For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.

Thine hand shall find out all Thine enemies; Thy right hand shall find out those that hate Thee.

Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of Thine anger; the Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

10 Their fruit shalt Thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

11 For they intended evil against Thee; they contrived a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

12 Therefore shalt Thou make them turn their back when Thou shalt ready Thine arrows upon Thy strings against the face of them.

13 Be Thou exalted, Lord, in Thine own strength; so will we sing and praise Thy power!

Isaiah 41:14-20

14 “Fear not, thou worm Jacob and ye men of Israel; I will help thee,” saith the Lord and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

15 “Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth; thou shalt thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

17 “When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none and their tongue faileth for thirst, I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

18 I will open rivers in high places and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land springs of water.

19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia tree, and the myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine and the box tree together,

20 that they may see and know, and consider and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

Romans 15:14-21

14 And I myself also am persuaded about you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some measure to remind you, because of the grace that is given to me from God,

16 that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the Gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

17 I have therefore cause that I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.

18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient by word and deed,

19 through mighty signs and wonders by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem and round about into Illyricum, I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ.

20 Yea, so have I striven to preach the Gospel not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation;

21 but as it is written: “To whom He was not spoken of, they shall see; and they that have not heard shall understand.”
