Revised Common Lectionary (Complementary)
122 I rejoiced when they said to me, “We will go into the House of the LORD.”
2 Our feet shall stand in Your gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together in itself,
4 to which the tribes—even the Tribes of the LORD—go up (according to the testimony to Israel) to praise the Name of the LORD.
5 For there are thrones set for judgment, the thrones of the House of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Let those who love You prosper.
7 Peace be within Your walls and prosperity within Your palaces.
8 For my brothers’ and neighbors’ sakes, I will now wish you prosperity.
9 Because of the House of the LORD our God, I will seek your good. A song of degrees
11 The Earth was also corrupt before God; for the Earth was filled with cruelty.
12 Then God looked upon the Earth; and behold, it was corrupt. For all flesh had corrupted its way upon the Earth.
13 And God said to Noah, “An end of all flesh has come before Me; for the Earth is filled with cruelty through them. And behold, I will destroy them with the Earth.
14 “Make an Ark of gopher wood. You shall make cabins in the Ark and shall cover it inside and outside with a coating.
15 “And thus shall you make it: the length of the Ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
16 “You shall make a window in the Ark, and you shall finish it above in a cubit; and you shall set the door of the Ark in the side thereof. You shall make it with the low, second, and third room.
17 “And I, behold, I will bring a Flood of waters upon the Earth, to destroy all flesh wherein is the breath of life under Heaven. All that is on the Earth shall perish.
18 But I will establish My covenant with you. And you shall go into the Ark, you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.
19 “And you shall cause two of every sort of every living thing (of all flesh) to come into the Ark, to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.
20 Of the birds after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come to you; so that you may keep them alive.
21 “And take with you all food that is eaten. And you shall gather it; so that it may be food for you and for them.”
22 Therefore, Noah did as God commanded him. So did he.
24 And Jesus went out and departed from the Temple. And His disciples came to Him to show Him the building of the Temple.
2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there shall not be left a stone upon a stone here, that shall not be cast down.”
3 And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, His disciples came to Him alone, saying, “Tell us when these things shall be. And what sign shall there be of Your coming, and of the end of the world?”
4 And Jesus answered, and said to them, “See to it that no one deceives you.
5 “For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am Christ’, and shall deceive many.
6 “And you shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must happen. But the end is not yet.
7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and realm against realm. And there shall be famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in diverse places.
8 “All these are but the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they shall deliver you up to tribulation and shall kill you. And you shall be hated by all nations, for My Name’s sake.
10 “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 “And many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many.
12 “And because iniquity shall be increased, the love of many shall be cold.
13 “But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved.
14 “And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached through the whole world, for a witness to all nations. And then the end shall come.
15 “Therefore, when you shall see the Abomination of Desolation (spoken of by Daniel the Prophet) set in the Holy Place (let the one who reads consider it.)
16 “Then let those who are in Judea, flee into the mountains.
17 “Let the one who is on the housetop, not come down to fetch anything out of his house.
18 “And the one who is in the field, let him not go back to fetch his clothes.
19 “Then woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days.
20 “But pray that your flight is not in the winter, nor on the Sabbath.
21 “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the world to this time, nor shall be.
22 “And unless those days are shortened, no flesh will be saved. But for the Elect’s sake, those days shall be shortened.
