Psalm 103:1-8

Bless Yahweh, O My Soul

Of David.

103 (A)Bless Yahweh, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His (B)holy name.
Bless Yahweh, O my soul,
And (C)forget none of His benefits;
Who (D)pardons all your iniquities,
Who (E)heals all your diseases;
Who (F)redeems your life from the pit,
Who (G)crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who (H)satisfies your [a]years with good things,
So that your youth is (I)renewed like the eagle.

Yahweh (J)performs righteous deeds
And judgments for all who are (K)oppressed.
He (L)made known His ways to Moses,
His (M)acts to the sons of Israel.
Yahweh is (N)compassionate and gracious,
(O)Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.

2 Chronicles 8:12-15

12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to Yahweh on (A)the altar of Yahweh which he had built before the porch; 13 and (B)did so according to the daily rule, offering them up (C)according to the commandment of Moses, for (D)the sabbaths, (E)the new moons and the (F)three annual feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Booths.

14 And according to the judgment of his father David, he caused (G)the divisions of the priests to stand for their service, and (H)the Levites for their responsibilities to praise and minister before the priests according to the daily rule, and (I)the gatekeepers by their divisions at every gate; for (J)David the man of God had so commanded. 15 And they did not turn away from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites in any manner or concerning the treasuries.

Acts 17:1-9

Paul and Silas in Thessalonica

17 Now when they had traveled through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to (A)Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. And (B)according to Paul’s custom, he went to them, and for three (C)Sabbaths reasoned with them from (D)the Scriptures, [a]explaining and setting before them that the [b]Christ (E)had to suffer and (F)rise again from the dead, and saying, “(G)This Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you is that [c]Christ.” (H)And some of them were persuaded and joined (I)Paul and Silas, [d]along with a great multitude of the (J)God-fearing (K)Greeks and not a few of the (L)leading women. But (M)the Jews, becoming jealous, taking along some wicked men from the marketplace, and forming a mob, set the city in an uproar. And attacking the house of (N)Jason, they were seeking to bring them out to the assembly. And when they did not find them, they began (O)dragging Jason and some brothers before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have upset [e](P)the world have come here also; [f]and Jason (Q)has welcomed them, and they all act (R)contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.” And they disturbed the crowd and the city authorities who heard these things. And when they had received the bond from (S)Jason and the others, they released them.
