21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Isaiah 43:16-21

16 Thus saith the Lord, who maketh a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters,

17 Who bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power (they shall lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched as tow):

18 “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

20 The beast of the field shall honor Me, the dragons and the owls, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen.

21 This people have I formed for Myself; they shall show forth My praise.

Psalm 126

126 When the Lord returned the captives to Zion, we were like them that dream.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then said they among the heathen, “The Lord hath done great things for them.”

The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.

Turn back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Philippians 3:4-14

though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath grounds to trust in the flesh, I have more:

circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; according to the law, a Pharisee;

concerning zeal, persecuting the church; as to the righteousness before the law, blameless.

But what things were gain to me, those I counted as loss for Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but dung, that I may win Christ

and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith,

10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death,

11 that if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12 It is not as though I had already attained it, nor were already perfect; but I follow after, that I may apprehend that for which Christ Jesus also apprehended me.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended it, but this one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

John 12:1-8

12 Then Jesus, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, who had been dead and whom He had raised from the dead.

There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him.

Then Mary took a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.

Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son who was to betray Him, said,

“Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence and given to the poor?”

This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money bag and took what was put therein.

Then Jesus said, “Let her alone; against the day of My burying hath she kept this.

For the poor always ye have with you, but Me ye have not always.”
