New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)
Version
Psalm 36:5-10

On his bed he hatches plots;
    he sets out on a wicked way;
    he does not reject evil.(A)

II

[a]Lord, your mercy reaches to heaven;
    your fidelity, to the clouds.(B)
Your justice is like the highest mountains;
    your judgments, like the mighty deep;
    human being and beast you sustain, Lord.
How precious is your mercy, O God!
    The children of Adam take refuge in the shadow of your wings.[b](C)
They feast on the rich food of your house;
    from your delightful stream(D) you give them drink.
10 For with you is the fountain of life,(E)
    and in your light we see light.(F)

Jeremiah 4:1-4

Chapter 4

If you return, Israel—oracle of the Lord
    return to me.
If you put your detestable things out of my sight,
    and do not stray,(A)
And swear, “As the Lord lives,”[a]
    in truth, in judgment, and in justice,
Then the nations shall bless themselves in him
    and in him glory.(B)

For to the people of Judah and Jerusalem, thus says the Lord:

Till your untilled ground,
    and do not sow among thorns.(C)
Be circumcised for the Lord,[b]
    remove the foreskins of your hearts,
    people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem;
Or else my anger will break out like fire,
    and burn so that no one can quench it,
    because of your evil deeds.(D)

Luke 11:14-23

14 He was driving out a demon [that was] mute, and when the demon had gone out, the mute person spoke and the crowds were amazed. 15 Some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he drives out demons.”(A) 16 Others, to test him, asked him for a sign from heaven.(B) 17 But he knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house. 18 And if Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that it is by Beelzebul that I drive out demons. 19 If I, then, drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your own people[a] drive them out? Therefore they will be your judges. 20 But if it is by the finger of God that [I] drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.(C) 21 When a strong man fully armed guards his palace, his possessions are safe. 22 But when one stronger[b] than he attacks and overcomes him, he takes away the armor on which he relied and distributes the spoils. 23 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.(D)
