76 God is known in Judah. His Name is great in Israel.

² For in Salem is His Tabernacle; and His dwelling is in Zion.

³ There He broke the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

⁴ You are brighter and more excellent than the mountains of prey.

⁵ The stout-hearted are spoiled. They have slept their sleep, and all the men of strength have not found their hands.

⁶ At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast dead asleep.

⁷ You. You are to be feared. And who shall stand in Your sight when You are angry!

⁸ You caused judgment to be heard from Heaven. The Earth feared, and was still,

⁹ when You, O God, rose to judgment to help all the meek of the Earth. Selah.

¹⁰ Surely, the rage of man shall turn to Your praise; the remnant of the rage You shall restrain.

¹¹ Vow and perform to the LORD your God, all you who surround Him; let them bring presents to Him Who ought to be feared.

²⁰ And in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, the Word of the LORD came to me, saying:

²¹ “Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh, king of Egypt. And lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, nor shall they put a roll to bind it and make it strong to hold the sword.”

²² Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I come against Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and will break his arm that was strong, but is broken. And I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

²³ “And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and will disperse them through the countries.

²⁴ “And I will strengthen the arm of the king of Babel and put My sword in his hand. But I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall groan, as the groanings of him who is wounded before him.

²⁵ “But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babel; and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down. And they shall know that I am the LORD when I shall put My sword into the hand of the king of Babel and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.

²⁶ “And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them among the countries. And they shall know that I am the LORD.”

²⁵ “These things I have spoken to you in parables. But the time will come when I shall speak to you in parables no more. But I shall report to you plainly concerning the Father.

²⁶ On that day, you shall ask in My Name. And I do not say to you that I will pray to the Father for you.

²⁷ “For the Father Himself loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from God.

²⁸ “I came out from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.”

²⁹ His disciples said to Him, “Lo, now You speak plainly. And You speak no parable.

³⁰ “Now we know that You know all things and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You have come out from God.”

³¹ Jesus answered them, “Do you believe now?

³² “Behold, the hour comes (and has already come) that you shall be scattered, each to his own, and shall leave Me alone. But I am not alone. For the Father is with Me.

³³ “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation. But be of good courage. I have overcome the world.”
