Revised Geneva Translation (RGT)
Version
Psalm 91:9-16

For you have said, “The LORD is my hope.” You have set the Most High for your refuge.

10 No evil shall come to you. Nor shall any plague come near your house.

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

12 They shall hold you in their hands, so that you do not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You shall walk upon the lion and asp. The young lion and the dragon you shall tread underfoot.

14 “Because he has loved Me, therefore will I deliver him. I will exalt him because he has known My Name.

15 “He shall call upon Me, and I will hear him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and glorify him.

16 “I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation.” A Psalm, or song, for the Sabbath day

Genesis 14:17-24

17 After he returned from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings who were with him, the King of Sodom came forth to meet him in the valley of Shaveh (which is the King’s dale).

18 And Melchizedek, King of Salem, brought forth bread and wine; and he was a Priest of the Most High God.

19 Therefore, he blessed him, saying, “Abram, you are blessed of God Most High, Possessor of Heaven and Earth.

20 “And blessed be the Most High God, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And Abram gave him tithes of all.

21 Then, the King of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the souls, and take the goods for yourself.”

22 “And Abram said to the King of Sodom, “I have lifted up my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Possessor of Heaven and Earth,

23 “so that I will not take all that is yours, from thread to shoe latchet (lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich’),

24 “except that which the young men have eaten and the portions of the men which went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre. Let them take their parts.”

Romans 15:7-13

Therefore, receive one another, as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Now, I say that Jesus Christ became a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God; to confirm the promises made to the Fathers.

And let the Gentiles praise God for His mercy. As it is written, “For this reason I will praise You among the Gentiles and sing to Your Name.”

10 And again He says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with His people!”

11 And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! And laud Him, all you people!”

12 And again, Isaiah says, “There shall be a root of Jesse; and He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles. In Him shall the Gentiles trust.”

13 Now may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
