5 Hear my words, O LORD. Understand my meditation.

² Hear the voice of my cry, my King and my God. For to you I pray.

³ Hear my voice in the morning, O LORD. In the morning I will direct myself to You, and I will wait.

⁴ For You are not a God Who loves wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You.

⁵ The foolish shall not stand in Your sight. You hate all those who work iniquity.

⁶ You shall destroy those who speak lies. The LORD will abhor the bloody man, and deceitful.

⁷ But I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy. In Your fear I will worship toward Your Holy Temple.

⁸ Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness, because of my enemies. Make Your way plain before my face.

⁹ For no constancy is in their mouth. Inside they are very corruption. Their throat is an open sepulcher. They flatter with their tongue.

¹⁰ Destroy them, O God. Let them fall from their counsels. Cast them out for the multitude of their iniquities, because they have rebelled against You.

¹¹ And let all those who trust in You rejoice, and triumph forever. And cover them. And let those who love Your Name rejoice in You.

¹² For You, LORD, will bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor, as with a shield. To him who excels on Neginoth, upon the eight tune: A Psalm of David.

¹⁸ And the Word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,

¹⁹ “Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be joy and gladness to the House of Judah, and prosperous High Feasts. Therefore, love the truth and peace.’

²⁰ “Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘People shall still come, the inhabitants of great cities.

²¹ ‘And those who dwell in one shall go to another, saying, “Up! Let us go and pray before the LORD and seek the LORD of Hosts! I will go also!”

²² ‘Yea, great people and mighty nations shall come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.’

²³ “Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘In those days, ten men shall take hold—out of all languages of the nations— take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, and say, ‘We will go with you! For we have heard that God is with you!’”

¹⁸ Little children, it is the last hour. And just as you have heard that Antichrist shall come, so now there are many Antichrists (by which we know that it is the last hour).

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But this is so that all of those who were not of us are revealed.

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One and know all things.

²¹ I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it (and no lie comes from the truth).

²² Who is a liar, except the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son.

²³ Whoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father.

²⁴ Therefore, let that same which you have heard from the beginning remain in you. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you shall also continue in the Son and in the Father.

²⁵ And this is the promise that He has promised us: eternal life.
