Psalm 119:97-104

Mem

97 Oh how I (A)love Your law!
It is my (B)meditation all the day.
98 Your (C)commandments make me wiser than my enemies,
For they are [a]mine forever.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers,
For Your testimonies are my (D)meditation.
100 I perceive (E)more than the aged,
Because I have (F)observed Your precepts.
101 I have (G)restrained my feet from every evil way,
That I may keep Your word.
102 I have not (H)turned aside from Your judgments,
For You Yourself have taught me.
103 How (I)sweet is Your [b]word to my [c]taste!
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 From Your precepts I (J)get perception;
Therefore I (K)hate every false way.

Isaiah 33:10-16

10 “Now (A)I will be on high,” says Yahweh,
“Now I will be lifted up, now I will be lifted up.
11 You have (B)conceived [a]chaff, you will give birth to stubble;
[b]My (C)breath will consume you like a fire.
12 The peoples will be burned to lime,
(D)Like cut thorns which are burned in the fire.

13 “You who are far away, (E)hear what I have done;
And you who are near, [c]acknowledge My might.”
14 (F)Sinners in Zion are in dread;
(G)Trembling has seized the godless.
“Who among us can sojourn with (H)the consuming fire?
Who among us can sojourn with [d]continual (I)burning?”
15 He who (J)walks righteously and speaks uprightly;
He who rejects greedy gain of [e]oppression,
And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe;
He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed
And (K)shuts his eyes from looking upon evil;
16 He will dwell on the heights,
(L)His refuge will be the strongholds of the cliffs;
(M)His bread will be given him,
His water will be sure.

John 15:16-25

16 (A)You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and (B)bear fruit, and that your fruit would abide, so that (C)whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. 17 This (D)I command you, that you love one another.

If the World Hates You

18 (E)If the world hates you, [a]know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but (F)I chose you out of the world, (G)because of this the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘(H)A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, (I)they will also persecute you; if they (J)kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you (K)for My name’s sake, (L)because they do not know the One who sent Me. 22 (M)If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have [b]sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24 (N)If I had not done among them (O)the works which no one else did, they would not have [c]sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. 25 But this happened to fulfill the word that is written in their (P)Law, ‘(Q)They hated Me without cause.’
