Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Version
Psalm 78:23-29

23 Yet He commanded the skies above
and opened the doors of heaven,
24 and rained down manna upon them to eat,
and gave them grain of heaven.[a]
25 Man did eat the bread of angels.
He sent them abundant provision.
26 He loosed the east wind in the skies,
and by His power He drove the south wind.
27 He rained meat upon them like dust,
and winged fowl like sand of the seas.
28 And He let it fall amidst their camp,
all around their tents.
29 So they ate and were very full—
for He gave them their desire.

Exodus 12:33-42

33 Now the Egyptians urged the people, sending them out of the land quickly, for they thought, “We will all be dead!” 34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading bowls bound up in their clothes on their shoulders. 35 So Bnei-Yisrael acted according to the word of Moses. They asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold, and for clothing. 36 Adonai gave the people favor in the eyes of the Egyptians and let them have what they asked for. So they plundered the Egyptians.

37 Then Bnei-Yisrael journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about 600,000 men on foot, as well as children. 38 Also a mixed multitude went up with them, along with the flocks, herds and heavy livestock. 39 They had baked matzot cakes from the dough that they brought out of Egypt. It had no hametz, because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not delay, so they had not made provisions for themselves.

40 Now the time that Bnei-Yisrael lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41 So it happened at the end of 430 years, to the very day, that all the armies of Adonai went out from the land of Egypt. 42 It was a night of watching for Adonai to bring them out of the land of Egypt. This same night is a night of vigil for Adonai, for all Bnei-Yisrael throughout their generations.

1 Corinthians 11:17-22

Unity at the Lord’s Table

17 But in giving you this instruction I do not praise you, for when you meet together it does more harm than good. 18 For first of all, when you come together as Messiah’s community, I hear that there are divisions among you; and to some extent I believe it— 19 for there must be factions among you, so that those among you who are tried and true may be evident. 20 Therefore, when you meet together in the same place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper— 21 for each one takes his own supper beforehand, and one goes hungry while another gets drunk. 22 What! It is certainly not that you do not have houses, is it? Don’t you have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise God’s community and try to humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? I don’t praise you for this!
