Version
Psalm 78:23-29

23 Still, He had commanded the clouds above, and had opened the doors of Heaven,

24 and had rained down manna upon them to eat and had given them of the wheat of Heaven.

25 Man ate the bread of angels. He sent them food enough.

26 He caused the east wind to pass in the sky; and through His power He brought in the south wind.

27 He also rained flesh upon them as dust, and feathered fowl as the sand of the sea.

28 And He made it fall in the midst of their camp, all around their habitations.

29 So they ate and were well-filled; for He gave them their desire.

Exodus 12:33-42

33 And the Egyptians urged the people to send them out of the land in haste. For they said, “We shall all die.”

34 Therefore, the people took their dough before it was leavened, with their bowls bound up in clothing upon their shoulders.

35 And the children of Israel did according to the saying of Moses. And they asked for articles of silver and articles of gold and clothing from the Egyptians.

36 And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. And they granted their request. So, they plundered the Egyptians.

37 Then the children of Israel took their journey from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children.

38 And a great mixed multitude of people went out with them, as well as flocks and herds and cattle in great abundance.

39 And they baked the dough which they brought out of Egypt and made unleavened cakes (for it was not leavened because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not linger, nor could they prepare provisions for themselves).

40 So, the dwelling of the children of Israel, while they dwelled in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

41 And when the four hundred and thirty years had expired—on that very same day— all the hosts of the LORD departed out of the land of Egypt.

42 It is a night to be kept holy to the LORD, because He brought them out of the land of Egypt. This is the night of the LORD which all the children of Israel must keep throughout their generations.

1 Corinthians 11:17-22

17 Now in this message I do not praise: that you come together, not for the better, but for the worse.

18 For first of all, I hear that there are divisions among you when you come together in the church. And in part I believe it.

19 For there must also be heresies among you, so that those who are approved might be known among you.

20 Therefore, when you come together into one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper.

21 For everyone, when he eats, takes his own supper beforehand. And one is hungry and another is drunk.

22 What!? Do you not have houses in which to eat and to drink? Or do you despise the Church of God and shame those who do not have? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.
