⁶ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of Your Kingdom is a scepter of righteousness.

⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness, because God, even Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

⁸ All Your garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia, of the ivory palaces where they have made You glad.

⁹ King’s daughters were among Your honorable women. Upon Your right hand stood the queen in a vesture of gold of Ophir.

¹⁰ Hear, O daughter, and consider and incline your ear. Also, forget your own people and your father’s house.

¹¹ So shall the King have pleasure in your beauty; for He is your LORD. And reverence Him.

¹² And the daughter of Tyre, with the rich of the people, shall do homage before your face with presents.

¹³ The King’s daughter is all glorious within. Her clothing is of embroidered gold.

¹⁴ She shall be brought to the King in clothing of needlework. The virgins who follow after her (her companions) shall be brought to You.

¹⁵ With joy and gladness they shall be brought and shall enter into the King’s palace.

¹⁶ Your children shall be in place of your fathers. You shall make them princes through all the Earth.

¹⁷ I will make Your Name remembered through all generations. Therefore, the people shall give thanks to You. World without end. To him who excels upon Alamoth: a song committed to the sons of Korah.

62 “For Zion’s sake, I will not be silent. And for Jerusalem’s sake, I will not rest, until their righteousness breaks forth as the light, their salvation as a burning lamp.”

² And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. And you shall be called by a new name which the Mouth of the LORD shall name.

³ You shall also be a crown of glory in the Hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the Hand of your God.

⁴ No more shall it be said to you, “Forsaken.” Nor shall it be said anymore to your land, “Desolate.” But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah. For the LORD delights in you; and your land shall have a husband.

⁵ For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you. And as a bridegroom is glad of the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

²² After these things, Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea and stayed there with them and baptized.

²³ And John also baptized in Aenon, near Salim, because there was much water there. And they came and were baptized.

²⁴ For John was not yet cast into prison.

²⁵ Then there arose a question between John’s disciples and the Jews about purification.

²⁶ And they came to John, and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with you beyond Jordan, to whom you have borne witness, behold, he baptizes, and all come to him.”

²⁷ John answered, and said, “A man can receive nothing, except it be given to him from Heaven.

²⁸ You yourselves are my witnesses, that I said, ‘I am not that Christ, but that I am sent before Him.’

²⁹ “The One who has the bride is the Bridegroom. But the friend of the Bridegroom who stands and hears Him, rejoices greatly because of the Bridegroom’s voice. Therefore, my joy is fulfilled.

³⁰ “He must increase, but I must decrease.

³¹ “The One who has come from on high is above all. The one who is from the Earth, is from the Earth, and speaks from the Earth. The One who has come from Heaven is above all.

³² “And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies. But no one receives His testimony.

³³ “The one who has received His testimony, has sealed that God is true.

³⁴ “For He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God. For God does not give the Spirit by measure.

³⁵ “The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.

³⁶ “The one who believes in the Son has everlasting life. And the one who disbelieves the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
