Psalm 103:1-13

103 1 He provoketh all to praise the Lord, which hath pardoned his sins, delivered him from destruction and given him sufficient of all good things. 10 Then he addeth the tender mercies of God, which he showeth like a most tender Father toward his children. 14 The frailty of man’s life. 20 An exhortation to man and Angels to praise the Lord.

A Psalm of David.

My soul, [a]praise thou the Lord, and all that is within me, praise his holy Name.

My soul, praise thou the Lord, and forget not all his benefits.

Which [b]forgiveth all thine iniquity, and healeth all thine infirmities.

Which redeemeth thy life from the [c]grave; and crowneth thee with mercy and compassions.

Which satisfieth thy mouth with good things: and thy [d]youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment to all that are oppressed.

He made his ways known unto [e]Moses, and his works unto the children of Israel.

The Lord is full of compassion and mercy, slow to anger and of great kindness.

He will not always [f]chide, neither keep his anger forever.

10 He hath not [g]dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as high as the heaven is above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as [h]the East is from the West: so far hath he removed our sins from us.

13 As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him.

Psalm 103:22

22 Praise the Lord all ye his works, in all places of his dominion: my soul, praise thou the Lord.

Ezekiel 16:53-63

53 Therefore I will bring again [a]their captivity, with the captivity of Sodom, and her daughters, and with the captivity of Samaria, and her daughters: even the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them,

54 That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou hast [b]comforted them.

55 And thy sister Sodom and her daughters shall return to their former state: Samaria also and her daughters shall return to their former state: [c]when thou and thy daughters shall return to your former state.

56 For thy sister Sodom [d]was not heard of [e]by thy report in the day of thy pride,

57 Before thy wickedness was [f]discovered, as in that same time of the reproach of the daughters of Aram, and of all the daughters of the Philistines round about [g]her, which despise thee on all sides.

58 Thou hast borne therefore thy wickedness and thine abomination, saith the Lord.

59 For thus saith the Lord God, I might even deal with thee, as thou hast done: when thou didst despise the [h]oath, in breaking the covenant.

60 Nevertheless, I will [i]remember my covenant made with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will confirm unto thee an everlasting Covenant.

61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive [j]thy sisters, both thy elder and thy younger, and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not [k]by thy covenant.

62 And I will establish my covenant with thee, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord,

63 That thou mayest remember, and be [l]ashamed, and never open thy mouth anymore: because of thy shame when I am pacified toward thee, for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord God.

John 7:53-8:11

53 [a]And every man went unto his own house.

3 The woman taken in adultery, 11 hath her sins forgiven her. 12 Christ the light of the world. 19 The Pharisees ask where his Father is. 39 The sons of Abraham. 42 The sons of God, 44 The devil the father of lying. 56 Abraham saw Christ’s day.

And Jesus went unto the mount of Olives,

And early in the morning came again into the Temple, and all the people came unto him, and he sat down and taught them.

[b]Then the Scribes and the Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery, and set her in the midst,

And said unto him, Master, we found this woman committing adultery even in the very act.

(A)Now Moses in our Law commanded, that such should be stoned: what sayest thou therefore?

And this they said to tempt him, that they might have, whereof to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground,

[c]And while they continued asking him, he lifted himself up, and said unto them, (B)Let him that is among you without sin, cast the first stone at her.

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

And when they heard it, being accused by their own conscience, they went out, one by one, beginning at the eldest even to the last: so Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10 [d]When Jesus had lifted up himself again, and saw no man, but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go and sin no more.
