Version
Psalm 26:1-8

26 Judge me, O LORD, for I have walked in my innocence. My trust has also been in the LORD. Therefore, I shall not slide.

Test me, O LORD, and try me. Examine my core and my heart.

For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes. Therefore, I have walked in Your truth.

I have not dwelt with frivolous people, nor kept company with the deceitful.

I have hated the assembly of the evil and have not kept company with the wicked.

I will wash my hands in innocence, O LORD, and surround Your altar.

So that I may declare with the voice of thanksgiving and set forth all Your wondrous works.

O LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your honor dwells.

Jeremiah 15:10-14

10 Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me, a contentious man, and a man who strives with the whole Earth! I have neither lent with usury, nor have men lent to me with usury. Everyone curses me.

11 The LORD said, “Surely your remnant shall have wealth. Surely I will cause your enemy to enjoin you in the time of trouble, and in the time of affliction.

12 “Shall the iron break the iron, and the bronze, from the North?

13 “I will give your substance and your treasures to be plundered without payment because of all your sins within all your borders.

14 “And I will make you go with your enemies into a land that you do not know. For a fire is kindled in My anger, which shall burn you.”

Matthew 8:14-17

14 And when Jesus came to Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother laid down, and sick of a fever.

15 And He touched her hand. And the fever left her. So, she arose and ministered to them.

16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were possessed with demons. And He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all who were sick,

17 so that which was spoken by Isaiah the Prophet might be fulfilled, which says, “He took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses.”
