Your Kingdom Come

The Prayer

May God be gracious to us and bless us. Interlude
May his face shine on us—
so that your way may be known on earth,
your salvation among all nations.
May the peoples praise you, O God.
May the peoples praise you—all of them.
May the countries be glad and sing for joy,
because you rule the peoples with fairness, Interlude
and you guide the countries of the earth.
May the peoples praise you, O God.
May the peoples praise you—all of them.
The earth will yield its harvest.
God, our God, will bless us.
God will bless us,
and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

Isaiah 56:1-5

56 This is what the Lord says.
Protect justice, and carry out righteousness,
because my salvation is coming very soon.
My righteousness is ready to be revealed.
How blessed is everyone who does this,
who grabs hold of it,
who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it,
who holds back his hand from doing any evil.

The Lord Welcomes All People

Therefore, the foreigner who joins himself to the Lord should not say,
“The Lord will certainly exclude me from his people.”
The eunuch should not say,
“I am just a dried-up tree.”
Because this is what the Lord says:
“If the eunuchs keep my Sabbaths,
choose things that delight me,
and take hold of my covenant,
then I will set up in my house and on my walls
a monument and a name for them
that is better than that of sons and daughters.
I will give them an everlasting name which will not be cut off.”

Matthew 14:34-36

34 When they had crossed over, they came to the shore at Gennesaret. 35 When the men of that place recognized him, they sent word into all the surrounding region. They brought to him all who were sick 36 and begged that they might just touch the fringe of his garment. All who touched it were completely cured.
