21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 69:7-10

because for Thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

I have become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.

For the zeal for Thine house hath eaten me up, and the reproaches of them that reproached Thee have fallen upon me.

10 When I wept and chastened my soul with fasting, that was turned to my reproach.

Psalm 69:11-15

11 I also made sackcloth my garment, and I became a proverb to them.

12 They that sit at the gate speak against me, and I have become the song of the drunkards.

13 But as for me, my prayer is unto Thee: O Lord, in an acceptable time, O God, in the multitude of Thy mercy hear me in the truth of Thy salvation.

14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from them that hate me and out of the deep waters.

15 Let not the floodwater overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Psalm 69:16-18

16 Hear me, O Lord, for Thy lovingkindness is good; turn unto me according to the multitude of Thy tender mercies.

17 And hide not Thy face from Thy servant, for I am in trouble; hear me speedily.

18 Draw nigh unto my soul and redeem it; deliver me because of mine enemies.

Jeremiah 20:1-6

20 Now Pashhur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the Lord, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.

Then Pashhur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the High Gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the Lord.

And it came to pass on the morrow that Pashhur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, “The Lord hath not called thy name Pashhur, but Magormissabib [that is, Fear round about].

For thus saith the Lord: ‘Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself and to all thy friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it; and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon and shall slay them with the sword.

Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city and all the labors thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, who shall despoil them and take them and carry them to Babylon.

And thou, Pashhur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity; and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die and shalt be buried there, thou and all thy friends to whom thou hast prophesied lies.’”

Luke 11:53-12:3

53 And as He said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to press Him vehemently and to provoke Him to speak of many things,

54 lying in wait for Him and seeking to catch something out of His mouth, that they might accuse Him.

12 In the meantime, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trod one upon another, He began to say unto His disciples first of all, “Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, neither hid that shall not be known.

Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
