32 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

² Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

³ When I kept silent, my bones waxed old through my groaning all the day long.

⁴ For day and night Thy hand was heavy upon me; the sap of my soul was turned into the drought of summer. Selah

⁵ I acknowledged my sin unto Thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, “I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord,” and Thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah

⁶ For this shall every one that is godly pray unto Thee in a time when Thou mayest be found; surely the floods of great waters shall not come nigh unto him.

⁷ Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah

⁸ “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will guide thee with Mine eye.

⁹ Be ye not as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they not come near unto thee.”

¹⁰ Many shall be the sorrows of the wicked; but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.

¹¹ Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart!

34 And the Lord said unto Moses, “Hew thee two tablets of stone like unto the first, and I will write upon these tablets the words that were in the first tablets which thou brokest.

² And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto Mount Sinai, and present thyself there to Me on the top of the mount.

³ And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.”

⁴ And he hewed two tablets of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning and went up unto Mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tablets of stone.

⁵ And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.

⁶ And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children unto the third and to the fourth generation.”

⁸ And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth and worshiped.

⁹ And he said, “If now I have found grace in Thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go among us, for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for Thine inheritance.”

²⁷ And the Lord said unto Moses, “Write thou these words, for according to the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.”

²⁸ And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

¹⁰ “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you that in Heaven their angels do always behold the face of My Father who is in Heaven.

¹¹ “For the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost.

¹² How think ye? If a man have a hundred sheep and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains and seeketh that which is gone astray?

¹³ And if it so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more over that sheep than over the ninety and nine which went not astray.

¹⁴ Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in Heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
